This weeks numbers from the box office show the power of anmiated films.

Pixar took the top spot again with the Increadibles followed by the Polar Express in the second spot.

Increadibles This weekend $51,049,000
total $144,053,000

Polar Express this weekend $23,532,000
Total $30,836,000

Combined this weekend the two movies brought in an astounding $74,581,000

And have combined to bring in almost $175 Million dollars overall.

Consider that a third Animated film (spongebob) opens this weekend.
